Is shadow clones still a forbidden technique?

The 2nd Hokage once said that it's forbidden because it may be too much for the user, but he also said that there are still ppl who are using it so maybe they passed it to them or got influenced by Naruto by fame

it requires expending your chakra on inferior clones. When you make too many you can literally die I understand since basically using all your chakra. It's forbidden for danger to the user. Other jutsus are more realistically forbidden

As expected, the genin are not ready for chuunin exams yet, at least to pass. Metal Lee is radically behind where his dad was, and Rock Lee failed! Their participation in exams is simply beneficial for professional development and not actually chance of passing.
Something I noticed, I think Chinki uses some type of metal shreds, which would be cool since goes with Metal Lee. Gaara uses sand or rock shreds which goes well with Rock Lee.

I'm really enjoying this, outside of Boruto cheating. He's so happy but everyone is going to rip him a new butthole when find out.
